INTANGIBLE UNTOUCHED REALITY

As dry scattered leaves that the wind carries… or distributes…

Intangible reality… Untouched.

Leaves that fall… that in autumn begin to turn yellow.
Turn off.
I wanted to preserve something that is impossible to save.  I can not be above nature. Despite that, I’ll try?
As I want to save the absurd. Does it make sense to preserve something that by all the laws of nature have its way and one day must disappear?
Printmaking has the character of the technical process that rarely becomes an important part of the work. It occurred to me that in the process of work I have reasons to split up the idea. That is how this print “intangible reality” was created.

Soft-ground seemed the best way to show the leaves realistically. Leaves should have been a part of the other print but it was made into a separate piece.
I believe that on this work, the space that I was in after working hours, subconscious influenced the piece. A number of years I spent a lot of time in the living room. At the same time it was my dining room, bedroom, and study room…
It’s covered with wallpaper. On the wallpaper are scattered leaves. They always gave me the tone of fall.  A sad warmth.

I’m not sure whether the “intangible reality” is a reflection that is seen by the lens of the eye or a reflection of the inner space?
The form of the Intangible reality follows the verticality of the wallpaper. Is that not too big of coincidence?
